Animal Rescue organization (published in the June/July 2005 issue):
"Please thank your readers for the generous
donations we received for Bubba, that really helped us help him.
He has had his surgery and is currently undergoing his long
rehabilitation at his foster home. The surgery was a success
and we expect him to make a good recovery and be fit and ready to go
to a new home in a couple more weeks. All we need now is
someone to adopt this big beautiful bundle of love."
